Family Home in Berkshire
Background
This family home had little to non-existent mobile service in the property. These issues were largely caused by the modern building materials used in the construction which are renowned for blocking out mobile signals. The customers' requirement was to improve the connectivity on Vodafone and EE networks.
Solution
The family only required voice connectivity since their broadband was sufficient, even though they said it would be nice to have a backup in case it failed. The solution we proposed was to install two Cel-Fi units - one for each network (EE & Vodafone).
It was also important that these could be re-programmed in case they changed provider. Fortunately, this is possible for all products Zonegen use. We provided a Cel-Fi solution with a DAS system through the property.
Challenges
Cabling is always challenging in residential property due to floorboards, tiled floors and carpets which make it very hard to run the cables. But we do love a challenge! As standard, our aim is to keep everything out of sight with the least amount of disruption.
Result
The family is extremely happy with the work we completed and now have the confidence they will always receive calls and no longer drop calls in the middle of important business conversations.
